Billie Faiers and Greg Shepherd finally return from ‘yobbish’ Maldives wedding

Billie Faiers and Greg Shepherd were a picture of wedded bliss as they finally landed back in the UK from their nuptials.

After their raucous Maldives wedding , that spawned complaints from fellow holidaymakers who branded it ‘yobbish’, the happy couple celebrated their son Arthur’s second birthday before enjoying their honeymoon.

Strolling through Gatwick airport Billie, 29, couldn’t stop grinning at her new hubby but was able to unhook herself for long enough to head straight to a magazine rack.

The mum-of-two was seen laughing as she scuttled off to grab a copy of OK! magazine to check out the spread which documented their festivities .

TOWIE star Billie, who has two children – Nelly and Arthur – with Greg, wed her beau on the sun-soaked island of Kuramathi in the Indian Ocean last week.

And, she said, her fairytale wedding was worth all the "stress and tears" of the weeks leading up to it.

Their wedding was plagued by reports of their nearly 100 guests running amok through the five-star resort and infuriating the other holidaymakers with their loud noise and selfish drunken behaviour.

One non-wedding guest said it had turned into the ‘Costa Del Sol’ as ITVBe cameras roamed the resort and parts of the island were restricted to allow Billie and her friends to let their hair down without prying eyes watching them.

However, Billie has slammed the claims, insisting she and Greg didn’t receive any complaints about their party’s conduct.

"The hotel manager hasn’t had any complaints about our party," the reality star told OK! magazine .

"I was half expecting some loudness as there are 95 of us out here celebrating [but] we have always been very respectful of the island and the other guests holidaying here."

One holiday-maker, who said they’d spent years saving up for their trip, told The Sun it had been ‘the opposite’ of what they were expecting.

"It was meant to be the height of luxury, but it’s full of drunken yobs shouting and trying to be the centre of attention.

"Guests who have saved for years to be here are so upset," they added.

The newly married TV star put any controversy about their wedding behind her, smiling as she flicked through her magazine spread while standing by their cases.

Donning a stylish beige tracksuit she kept her sunglasses on throughout the walk back to their car making sure to flash her whopping wedding ring.

The pair also made time to stop and pose for a picture with a fan before no doubt pouring over their numerous wedding photos when they got back home.
