Richarlison is in danger of missing Everton’s clash with Chelsea on Sunday at Stamford Bridge.
The Brazil star has been unable to train fully and boss Marco Silva says he is a doubt for the game.
Silva, who refused to specific what injury Richarlison has, said: “He didn’t do the whole session today. We will see tomorrow.
“We have one more session. He is a doubt for the game.
“Nothing changed from yesterday to today. Let’s see how he reacts after the work he did this morning.”
Losing Richarlison for the daunting trip to Chelsea would be a significant blow for Everton and the 21-year-old striker has bagged six goals in nine Premier League games.
“We know he’s an important player for us, playing as a striker or out wide as well,” said Silva.
“If he’s not fit, there are options for our other players to play there.”
Everton will also be without the ineligible Kurt Zouma and Silva refused to say if he will replace the on-loan Chelsea defender with Yerry Mina.
“Yerry will bring his qualities as a player,” said Silva. “But it’s not my way two days before a game to tell my players what is the team.”
Silva also hailed Michael Keane’s turnaround since he took over in the summer, which has earned the centre-half an England recall.
“I see a big difference,” said the Portuguese. “He’s not the same Michael Keane I saw in pre-season or in the first game.
“He’s improved and he now knows better our idea and our defensive process.”
