“This is really sad, actually. Well, it’s not sad, it’s bringing me back to what I felt at the time,” Jordyn says.
It’s still an emotional experience for Jordyn Woods to look back at the Tristan Thompson–Khloe Kardashian scandal and how it ended her friendship with former BFF Kylie Jenner.
In an interview with Teen Vogue, the 21-year-old began to cry as she recalled her emotional appearance on "Red Table Talk" back in March.
While flipping through her journal, Jordyn reached an entry right dated right before she went on longtime family friend, Jada Pinkett Smith’s talk show. It was also right before her late father’s birthday, who passed away when she was 19.
"February 27, ‘happy birthday dad,’" she read from her journal. "It’s interesting, that’s right before ‘Red Table Talk.’"
"This is really sad, actually. Well, it’s not sad, it’s bringing me back to what I felt at the time," she said as she started to tear up. Jordyn surprised herself as she claimed she doesn’t usually cry.
"Why am I crying?" she asked.
Jordyn was caught in the wild cheating scandal that made major headlines earlier this year. Back in February, it was reported Khloe’s baby daddy Tristan, flew from Cleveland to Los Angeles to spend Valentine’s Day with Khloe and their daughter, True Thompson. However, Tristan then hit up a house party, where he allegedly hooked up with Jordyn– leaving Khloe furious and kicking him to the curb for good.
After the ensuing fallout with the Kar-Jenner clan, which was later documented on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Jordyn went on "RTT" to give her side of the story. According to Jordyn, she "never once" gave Tristan a lap dance, nor did she make out with him, contrary to reports she had read. She claimed they were in plain sight the whole time. It was when Jordyn went to leave the party, around 7 a.m. the next day, that she claimed Tristan kissed her. Jordyn said that’s the part she didn’t immediately tell Khloe and Kylie — and she said it was her biggest regret.
Despite her apologies, the Kar-Jenner clan, including Kylie, seemingly cut all ties with Jordyn.
When asked by Teen Vogue if she considered what happened between her and the makeup mogul as a "breakup," Jordyn didn’t avoid the question, but she didn’t exactly answer it, either.
"What’s the definition of a breakup?" she asked before looking up the answer. "’The separation or breaking up of something into several pieces or sections. The end of a relationship.’"
"Those are the two things," Jordyn said. "What I’d ask is, ‘Does anything really end? Or is it a cycle?’"
"The toughest breakup I had to go through was losing my father," she added. "Everything doesn’t feel as intense as that. Losing my dad prepared me for everything that happens in life, and… life has thrown some really crazy things at me. That’s part of the process."
