RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal that Ted Bundy‘s wife, who died in January 2018 at age 70 of septic shock, never revealed the serial killer’s secrets and went to extreme lengths to hide her true identity.
According to a former friend, in recent years Carole Ann Boone, living under an assumed name, ran into health problems and checked into a retirement community, where no-one had any idea of her past life married to the notoriously charming murderer.
Instead, she was known among other residents as someone who “enjoyed knitting and watching soccer,” said a friend of the late senior, who is believed to have suffered from multiple sclerosis and was confined to a wheelchair. “She had attitude. She loved nature programs, especially ones about sharks.”

As Radar reported, Bundy initially targeted young girls in Seattle, Oregon and Utah often posing as an injured man who needed help before abducting, raping and killing his numerous victims.
Bundy eventually confessed to butchering more than 30 young women during a bloody reign of terror that finally ended in Florida in 1978 when he was caught following two dramatic prison escapes and more murders.
Boone, who had worked with Bundy at the Washington State Department of Emergency Services and became friends with the serial murderer in 1974, wed Bundy in a bizarre courtroom ceremony in 1980 while serving as a character witness during his murder trial.

Shockingly, the pair conceived their daughter, Rose, during a death row visit in 1981.
However, three years before Bundy’s 1989 execution, he and Boone had a falling out and she moved with their daughter and her adult son from another marriage, Jim, out of state.
Boone changed her name four times and eventually returned to her birth city, Seattle, not far from where Bundy is believed to have started his murderous rampage.

Rose, who now lives in another country under an assumed name, is said to have stayed in contact with her mom and visited her the year before her death.
Jim lives in Seattle but declined to comment on Bundy when approached by Radar.
