Best deals to Spain and Greece from just £196pp while all-inclusive holiday bookings increase amid Brexit currency volatility

Cheap deals can be found to Spain and Greece this year with many packages cheaper compared to 2018.

The research from holiday comparison website TravelSupermarket revealed 14 per cent more Brits have booked all-inclusive trips abroad this year, with nearly a third of all trips booked on the website being package deals.

Some of the favourite destinations this year include Benidorm in Costa Blanca which has seen an increase in searches of 113 per cent compared to last summer.

Other popular places for 2019 include Costa Dorada, Costa Brava and Salou.

Emma Coulthurst, travel commentator from TravelSupermarket explained: "Now all-inclusive is by far Brits’ favourite overseas’ package holiday type.

"It enables you to avoid any exchange rate volatility, which is a real pull at the moment."

Bargains are best found in May, Emma advised, as it is the cheapest month of summer to go away while families who want to travel with kids on a budget should stick to the first and last week of the summer holidays.

One of the cheapest deals currently on offer is a seven-night stay in Sidari in Corfu for just £196pp.

Brits travelling as a couple can head to the three-star Summertime Hotel Apartments for the bargain price when travelling from Southend Airport on May 14.

Another cheap holiday option is Costa Brava, just £215pp for seven nights when travelling from London Stansted Airport.

Th booking is for two people staying at the three-star Malgrat de Mar when travelling on May 1.

Seven nights in Majorca for just £227pp or seven nights in Costa Dorado for £242pp are also still available to book.

The most family-friendly beach holiday destination is Crete in Greece, according to holiday specialists On the Beach.

However, the cheapest holiday destination was La Palma in Spain.
