Aaron Chalmers’ foul-mouthed message for people who doubt his MMA career

Aaron Chalmers has a foul-mouthed message for the people who doubt his MMA career because of his Geordie Shore past.

The tattooed hunk, 30, quit the show this year after nine series of boozing and partying with his pals in order to concentrate on his fighting career.

And while he says he doesn’t have any regrets about taking part in the hit MTV show , it’s clear he doesn’t have time for people who think it means he can’t be a successful fighter.

Aaron is getting ready for his next big fight, which will be broadcast live on 5 Spike on Friday from 9pm.

He showed off his skills in a video which follows his training and shows him pulling off various moves.

Aaron is also heard talking about his new career and answering questions about his reality show past.

And he send a strong message to the people who doubt him.

He said: "I don’t regret doing the show in the slightest, if anything’s it’s given me this platform where I am today.

"But now I’m never going to be fully taken seriously as an MMA fighter by the armchair MMA fans, but f**k them, I’m enjoying it so I’m going to keep going as far as I can possibly go."

Aaron shared the video on Instagram, writing: "My dreams are made in the gym and realised in the cage. 2 Days I’m giving it everything I have. #bellator200 thanks @garethadaviesdt @raphuchegbu"

His fans had his back.

One told him: "I’ve enjoyed watching your journey, good luck and Godspeed."

While another dubbed him "the king of Newcastle".

"go on workid good luck," another told him.

His girlfriend Talia Oatway also commented, writing: "Gives me goosebumps this"

Aaron announced in January that he was quitting Geordie Shore, following months of rumours about his exit.

The news was followed shortly by the resignation of his ex-girlfriend Marnie Simpson , who also quit the show.
