Adele tearfully FaceTimes fans who jetted to Las Vegas to watch her perform

Pop superstar Adele video called emotional fans who travelled to Las Vegas to see her perform.

The 33 year old spoke to stunned fans over Instagram after the Rolling in the Deep singer had to pull out of her residency a day before the first show.

But, the star attempted to make it up to fans who had already jetted to Sin City before her announcement with a series of video calls and freebies.

Talking to her adoring new friends, Adele said: "I love you too, I'm so sorry and I can't wait to meet you, alright. Get your free bag – and you're not old enough to drink are you so you can't have that free drink token."

There may not be any performances from the multi-Grammy award winning artist but fans of the star can enjoy a special pop-up store for those wanting some merchandise from the Londoner.

Inside the pop-up in Caesars casino were branded clothes, memorabilia and even a branded bottle of wine.

While on the video call Adele generously offered some freebies to her elated followers, "get your freebies and chat to anyone. Ask any of my team anything about the show, ask them anything about me, about the show", the star insisted.

The pop star also described the effort that went into the live shows which will will not happen until a later date. Some fans were infuriated by the news, but Adele caught plenty of satisfied fans who understood the tough decision she made.

The star explained to a pair of ticket-holders: "I designed that score myself, I bled and f**king sweated and cried into it. So just have fun to all the fans and I'm really sorry and it's really nice to meet you both. And I'm truly, truly like humbled at you two at your age. Please thank your mother from me."

Adele continued: 'I'm letting myself be sad. I'm feeling really nice seeing you all there. Everyone keeps calling me. Where are you guys from? I love New York. I'm really sorry I'm not there."

In a separate video call, more fans were chosen to have a chat with the emotional singer and one group even gathered round and sung to the star.

Adele was clearly taken aback and loving the moment as the group of friends joined in to sing Feel My Love.

The fan then declared on Instagram: "I not only got to FaceTime with @adele, but I got to serenade her as well! Serious props to her and her amazing team for continuing to make dreams come true.
