Alec Baldwin’s eldest daughter says his decision to have more kids is ‘none of her business’

Ireland Baldwin has hit back at people asking for her opinion on her father Alec Baldwin having another child, saying it’s "none of her business".

The model and screenwriter, 26, is the daughter of actors Alec Baldwin, 63, and Kim Bassinger, 68.

Her father later married his current wife Hilaria Baldwin, 38, with the couple announcing last month that they were expecting their seventh child.

However, Ireland has expressed frustration at being asked about what she thinks of her father’s new relationship and children, writing about her annoyance in a lengthy Instagram post.

In a text post shared on Thursday evening, the model expressed various things that had been on her mind lately, talking about the unfair hate and criticism she receives on social media.

She then went on to mention her father and wife Hilaria, who share six children and have another on the way.

Ireland wrote: “I get countless messages from people who are kind of alarmingly obsessed with my father and his family. I think a lot of people assume my take on any of this, well here it is for free – it's none of my business.”

Saying that she’s perfectly content with her life in Oregon with her boyfriend and their six dogs, she added: “I smoke weed, I eat good food, and I mind MY own business.”

Hilaria announced she was expecting her seventh child with husband Alec via an adorable video on Instagram last month, which showed their other six children reacting excitedly to the news.

The couple are already parents to daughters María Lucía Victoria, 13 months, Carmen Gabriela, eight, and sons Rafael Thomas, six, Leonardo Ángel Charles, five, Romeo Alejandro David, three, and Eduardo "Edu" Pao Lucas, 18 months.

In the post, Hilaria wrote: “After many ups and downs over the past few years, we have an exciting up and a huge surprise: another Baldwinito is coming this fall. We were pretty sure our family was complete, and we’re beyond happy with this surprise."

She continued: “I’m sharing with you the moment we told the kids – as you can see they are super excited! Our new baby is a very bright spot in our lives. A blessing and a gift during such uncertain times."

She also revealed that she was “nauseous, tired and happy” in response to her followers asking how she was feeling.

The happy news comes five months after Alec Baldwin was sued for the death of the late cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, 42, who was fatally shot in October 2021 after Alec let off a prop gun which he had been told was safe to use.
