Ariana Grande has come under fire for performing at Aretha Franklin’s funeral in a tiny mini-dress.
The singer took to the stage to perform the Queen of Soul’s 1967 hit (You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman.
But sadly it wasn’t her singing that had people talking with outraged fans taking to Twitter to call her out over her ‘disrespectful’ outfit.
"Arianagrande that dress in front of all the seniors though.. My grandma would have whooped my ass while the congregation watches," one wrote.
"Ariana Grande’s dress totally inappropriate and bending over…" added a second while one joked that former US President Bill Clinton was "just about to have a heart attack when he saw that tiny dress."
"Loved Ariana Grande at the same time that dress was very inappropriate Im sorry," opined one fan.
"Someone said ArianaGrande ponytail longer than her dress," one quipped.
"Someone should have told this baby she needed to wear a whole dress to Church!" added another.
"Her dress is inappropriate and not fitting for the memorial of Aretha Franklin," added one more while one marvelled at the ‘disrespect’.
Aretha was laid to rest in a five-hour funeral ‘fit for the Queen’.
From a cavalcade of pink Cadillacs to a star-packed congregation, the five hour ceremony was said to have been planned mostly by the late star, who died from pancreatic cancer on August 16 aged 76.
In her fourth outfit change since public viewing of her body began, the legendary diva was dressed in a gold gown and matching sequined Louboutin heels as her open coffin was placed at the front of the Greater Grace Temple in Detroit.
A-listers including Ariana Grande, Stevie Wonder, Jennifer Hudson, Chaka Khan took to the stage to perform, while the congregation was packed with celebrities including actress Whoopi Goldberg and film maker Tyler Perry.
