On Tuesday, the Backstreet Boys posted a photo to Twitter of the group decked out in Spice Girls costumes for a performance on their cruise.
“Celebrating all of the girl power that’s kept us going for 25 years,” read the caption of the image featuring Nick Carter as Baby Spice (Emma Bunton), AJ McLean as Scary Spice (Mel B), Kevin Richardson as Posh Spice (Victoria Beckham), Howie Dorough as Ginger Spice (Geri Horner, née Halliwell) and Brian Littrell as Sporty Spice (Mel C), all striking their best poses.
As the band showed off their costumes, Carter was captured on video saying, “literally I think I have the nicest legs in the group right now.”
The “As Long As You Love Me” singers even got a stamp of approval from his inspiration, Bunton, herself.
“Love it!!!! In fact I want that dress!” Baby Spice replied to Carter’s tweet asking how he looked.
The two music groups, who became staples of the 1990s pop scene made it clear that even over 20 years later, friendship never ends.
