Brooklyn Peltz Beckham teases new cooking in restaurants docuseries

‘I’m not a professional chef – at all!’ Brooklyn Peltz Beckham to star in new show where he will work in established restaurants… and DENIES rift between wife Nicola and his famous parents

It’s out of the frying pan and into the fire for Brooklyn Peltz Beckham who will be tested by working in established restaurants as a chef in his new show.

The self-taught cook, 23, teased a new docuseries where he will take his career up a notch by working in the kitchens of some well known restaurants.

Brooklyn has largely been cooking for Instagram videos over the past few years as he shares basic tips with his followers on meals such as burgers and sandwiches.

Under pressure: It’s out of the frying pan and into the fire for Brooklyn Peltz Beckham who will be tested by working in established restaurants as a chef in his new show

But ensuring his fans know he in no way regards himself a professional, Brooklyn admitted to Bustle on Wednesday: ‘I’m not a professional chef – at all.’

‘I’ve never said that. I never would say that. Obviously, my dad [retired soccer star David Beckham] knew what he was doing at a very young age. I’ve only been doing cooking for not even three years.’

Brooklyn stressed: ‘It’s okay to be 25, 26, or even 30 and not know what you’re doing yet. You know what I mean?’

Beckham has already received a lot of support from 73-year-old master chef Nobu Matsuhisa, who lives in the same Century City high-rise as he and his beloved wife of seven months, Nicola.

Elsewhere during the interview, Brooklyn said he was too ‘sensitive’ to follow in his 47-year-old father’s footsteps after failing to secure a scholarship with Arsenal Football Club Academy when he was 15.

‘I have a lot of anxiety,’ Brooklyn explained.

‘And to try and live up to what my dad did, it was just like, it got to the point where I was just, like, I really just want to make my own name for myself and work my arse off. I’m a Pisces. Sensitive.’

However, Beckham admitted he does take after his dad when it comes to being a total ‘wife guy’ as he and Nicola wear just as many matching outfits as David did with spouse Victoria Beckham.

‘Definitely, definitely,’ confirmed the former photographer, who wants to name his first LA pub after the 27-year-old Welcome to Chippendales actress.

‘I mean this is definitely a woman’s world. And guys are just living in it. The girls are in charge.’

Much ado was made over Nicola’s alleged rift with Brooklyn’s 48-year-old mother stemming from so-called drama surrounding their April 9 nuptials, which he called ‘rubbish’ and confirmed everyone gets along fine.

Brooklyn insisted that everyone ‘gets along fine’ and the feud between the two women is merely a stoked up rumour.

He said: ‘It [the feud speculation] goes everywhere and everyone talks about it.’

When asked if the two women get along, he confirmed: ‘Yes’.

Brooklyn – who tattooed his wedding vows on his bicep – originally met Peltz at Coachella in 2016, had their first date on Halloween 2019, and went public with their romance in January 2020.

Brooklyn previously dated Chloë Grace Moretz, Sonia Ben Ammar, Lexi Wood, Madison Beer, Lexi Panterra, Lottie Moss, Phoebe Torrance, Rita Ora and Hana Cross.
