Carol Vorderman, 60, has wowed on Instagram today as she photographed her sensational curves ahead of what was sure to be a gruelling workout session. The former Countdown host wore a pair of stylish khaki leggings that had pockets, paired with a long sleeve black top that clung to her hourglass figure.

Carol said the fashionable outfit was a “lazy” option as she also planned to wear them on her travels, after first breaking out a sweat in the gym.

She typed: “New leggings with pockets for today’s gym sesh… thinking easy adapt for travelling later.

“New level of lazy a**e dressing ahead,” she typed beside laughing emojis.

In a second snap, she also shared a closer look at the material of the leggings by snapping a selfie, as temperatures in the UK hit 26c.

Carol kept her brunette dresses down in a sleek style paired with minimal makeup.

The star has been regularly sharing her workouts on social media, and recently uploaded a video of herself skipping in the gym.

“It’s underrated you know!” said Carol of her usual fitness regime to her 109,000 followers along for the journey.

The star donned a figure-hugging black workout ensemble, complete with a long-sleeved gym top and leggings, as she sang along to Bill Wither’s Lovely Day.

Carol also uses weights to create her impressive physique and has previously posted her workout plan online back in 2019.

The TV personality alternates lower and upper body days with additional core exercises factored in.

Her lower body workout consists of goblet squats, forward lunges and glute raises with burpees in between exercises if she’s feeling up to it.

To craft a strong core she does leg raises, side oblique dumbbell raises with glute raises, reverse crunches and a plank as extras.

The upper body day consists of shoulder press pyramids and frontal deltoid raises.

She added that she also “walks about seven miles a day and three circuits a week”.

Carol revealed that her libido became sky-high after reaching her late 50s.

At the moment the star insists she doesn’t have one boyfriend and is instead enjoying her freedom.

“I get up to a lot of mischief. I have a number of special friends but I’m not doing anything wrong. Everyone’s single,” she told the Daily Mail.

“And yes, apart from one, they’re all younger than me. I don’t want to settle down. I’m enjoying my freedom.”

But she won’t name names, explaining: “I’ll have broken the code. I never mention them, and they don’t talk about me. If I told you who they were, I’d have to kill you!”

Carol is mother to two children – Katie, 28, and Cameron, 24, both students – from her second marriage to Patrick King.
