Celine Dion hit No. 1 on Billboard‘s Artist 100 chart for the first time in her career with the help of her latest album, Courage.
Dion became the top musical act in the U.S. for the first time on the chart dated November 30, as her new LP debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard‘s all-genre 200 albums chart with 113,000 equivalent album units, according to Nielsen Music.
Courage is Dion’s fifth No. 1 on the 200 chart and first since A New Day Has Come in 2002.
Dion also becomes the seventh act to re-enter the Artist 100 at No. 1 this year, after the Backstreet Boys, Tyler, The Creator, Madonna, Slipknot, SuperM and Kanye West.
The Artist 100 calculates each artist’s total score based on album and track sales, radio airplay, streaming and social media fan interaction.
