Critics Are Praising ’1917′ in First Reviews!

Critics are going crazy over the upcoming 1917!

Over the weekend, critics were able to get a first look at the new WWI movie directed by Sam Mendes – and some are already calling it the “best war film since Saving Private Ryan.”

Here’s a plot summary: at the height of the First World War, two young British soldiers, Schofield (George MacKay) and Blake (Dean-Charles Chapman) are given a seemingly impossible mission. In a race against time, they must cross enemy territory and deliver a message that will stop a deadly attack on hundreds of soldiers—Blake’s own brother among them.

Mark Strong, Andrew Scott, Richard Madden, Claire Duburcq, Colin Firth and Benedict Cumberbatch all co-star in the movie.

1917 will be out in theaters on Christmas Day, December 25 – check out the trailer here!
