David and Victoria Beckham auction off wedding outfits: Footballer urges fans to bid money on their prized possession for charitable cause

They have been married for nineteen years and are now proud parents to four children. 

And David Beckham took to his Instagram platform on Thursday to pay forward the happiness of the day he and Victoria tied the knot, as he revealed they were auctioning off their wedding outfits.

With a sign reading ‘own out wedding outfits and support a great caught’, the professional footballer, 43, explained in the caption that all proceeds would go to the families affected by the Manchester terror attacks last year.

David – who wed the former Spice Girl in 1999, at Luttrellstown Castle, Ireland – looked in high spirits as he smiled at the camera while holding the sign.   

The charitable snap was captioned: ‘To support the incredible work of The We Love Manchester Emergency Fund and the families affected by the Manchester attack last year, @victoriabeckham and I have partnered with @omazeworld to give you the chance to own our wedding outfits.

David colour co-ordinated while also making for quite the snazzy display himself in a three-piece suit.  

The happy couple, who share children Brooklyn, 19, Romeo, 15, Cruz, 13 and six-year–old Harper, began dating in 1997 before announcing their engagement in 1998.

Most of their marriage has been spent at the forefront of the public stratosphere, with the duo becoming known as Posh and Becks in the tabloids.

Victoria has frequently gushed about her marriage to the sportsman and in an interview with fashion site Hashtaglegend.com admitted that David was ‘the best partner anybody can have’.

Although the so-called perfect relationship was rocked to its core in 2004 amid claims of infidelity.

David’s former personal assistant Rebecca Loos came out with claims she enjoyed a four-month affair with the world famous footballer – after which he dubbed her story ‘ludicrous’.

Following the allegations, Victoria went on to vow Rebecca’s story only made their marriage stronger in an interview with W magazine.
