Drake’s Scorpion Getting Physical Release Later This Month

Drake‘s latest album Scorpion will get a physical release on July 13. The album, his fifth, was originally released digitally on June 29.

The new album will be available as a 2-CD set from next Friday. While Drake and his team have yet to officially confirm the traditional album release, Amazon.com is taking preorders for the double-CD, which comes with a $17.98 price tag. There is no word on a vinyl release as of yet.

Scorpion was released via Young Money/Cash Money/Republic Records, smashing single-day streaming records on Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music, en route to setting a new one-week streaming standard for an album in the United States, doing so in just three days. It’s expected to bow at No. 1 on the U.S. and U.K. albums charts.
