He is regularly seen on our TV screens with wife, Ruth Langsford .
But Eamonn Holmes was joined by two other members of his family, this week – when he stepped out at Buckingham Palace on Friday afternoon.
The 58-year-old star, who regularly fronts This Morning, was joined by children Jack and Rebecca as he proudly collected his OBE from The Queen.
Looking dapper in a three-piece suit, which he matched with a white shirt, he certainly had a spring in his step as he received the honour.
Following suit, Rebecca looked classy in a sleeveless black dress, while Jack sported a navy blue sut. Meanwhile, Loose Women’s Ruth was equally stylish in a powder blue dress, which she matched with a fascinator.
Together, they appeared to be the picture-perfect family.
However, cheeky Eamonn revealed that he asked The Queen for an interview during the investiture ceremony.
Speaking afterwards, he told the Press Association: “She talked about breakfast television and asked me how long I had been doing it and I said ‘too long’.
“I told her that I have interviewed almost every member of her family except her. I said, ‘so you have got to put that right for me’.
“She laughed – I think that meant no.”
Before they left for the royal residece, Ruth, 58, shared a picture of them both via Instagram, where she boasts nearly 500,000 followers.
She said: “Off to the Palace! SO proud of my husband @eamonnholmes who will receive his OBE for services to broadcasting today… nobody deserves it more #proudwife #obe #eamonnholmes."
The image racked-up hundreds of ‘likes’ and plenty of affirmative comments.
One said: "You both look amazing!! Hope it’s the best day!", while another said: "You both scrub up well".
A third chimed-in: "Fantastic achievement! My favourite TV couple!".
