Emily in Paris star Lily Collins’ ‘rare’ wedding ring ‘stolen at Hollywood spa’

Emily in Paris star Lily Collins has reportedly had over $10,000 worth of personal belongings stolen.

The 34 year old actress was visiting a West Hollywood spa at the time of the alleged theft, with the culprit having been thought to have broken into where the spa was holding Lily's personal items that she’d handed in.

The items taken include Lily’s stunning engagement ring, her wedding band, and some electronic devices.

The theft is currently under investigation by the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department, who say there was no sign of forced entry.

According to TMZ, officials are now looking through the building’s security footage for potential leads.

OK! have contacted Lily’s representatives for comment.

Lily got engaged to her now-husband Charlie McDowell, 39, in September 2020, with the happy couple officially tying the knot a year later.

It’s unclear how much the Netflix star’s beautiful engagement ring cost, but according to UK retailer Steven Stone, it could be worth over £65,000.

Diamond expert Maxwell Stone said: "Charlie proposed to Lily with a pretty rose-cut diamond engagement ring. Weighing between 2 and 3 carats, the diamond is sat in a bezel setting, which is an unusual choice for an engagement ring. The diamond's lovely ‘light pink’ colour is exceptionally rare – representing femininity, love and romance, it's also incredibly romantic.

"A particularly special quality of Lily's ring is that it was designed by Charlie, with the help of Irene Neuwirth Jewellery.

"I'd estimate the sparkler to be worth over £65,000 ($90,000)."

At the time of their engagement, Lily – who is the daughter of hitmaker Phil Collins – hailed the ring as being “perfect” and “breathtaking”.

American film director Charlie designed the statement piece himself alongside jeweller Irene Neuwirth.

Lily and Charlie wed in a stunning ceremony in Dunton Hot Springs, Colorado, on Saturday 4 September 2021.

Sharing pictures of their special day to social media after saying their ‘I dos’, Lily penned: “I’ve never wanted to be someone’s someone more than I do yours, and now I get to be your wife.

"On September 4th, 2021 we officially became each other’s forever. I love you beyond @charliemcdowell…⁣ "

The actress went on: "What started as a fairytale, is now my forever reality. I’ll never be able to properly describe how otherworldly this past weekend was, but magical is a pretty good place to start…"

Lily dazzled in a Ralph Lauren wedding gown for her big day as Charlie opted for a velvet dinner jacket and bowtie.
