The Duchess of Cambridge looked very on trend for her latest royal engagement.
Kate was joined by her husband, Prince William, at Alexandra Park Sports Hub in Dennistoun, Scotland, to meet with Scouts from across the area and talk about the #PromiseToThePlanet campaign. For the appearance, Kate wore a black turtleneck sweater paired with matching jeans, hiking boots, and a quilted army-green vest—reminiscent of the quilted jackets that have won over the street style set this season. (Of course, practical outerwear is a royal staple, so this might be a chicken-and-egg situation.)
Kate paired the look with a traditional Scouts scarf loosely tied around her neck and wore her hair styled in her signature glossy waves.
During the couple’s visit, the pair took part in activities to demonstrate how Scouting helps equip young people with the tools to combat change. William and Kate joined Scouts in making wildflower seed bombs, cooking plant-based burgers, and learning bicycle maintenance.
