Two weeks after her suicide in Manhattan, designer Kate Spade’s friends and family were seen at her funeral in Kansas City, Mo., on Thursday — including husband Andy Spade and his movie-star brother David Spade.
Also at the service was Kate’s niece, “Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” star Rachel Brosnahan.
A large urn was seen being carried into the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Redemptorist Church.
The night before the funeral, Spade’s family released that her father, Earl Brosnahan Jr., had died at 89.
“We are deeply saddened to announce that Katy’s father . . . passed away last night,” the family told “Good Morning America” on Thursday. “He had been in failing health of late and was heartbroken over the recent death of his beloved daughter. He was at home and surrounded by family at the time of his passing.”
“I imagine there will be a crowd,” Brosnahan told the Kansas City Star before he passed.
Spade died June 5 at 55 after hanging herself.
She was found by her housekeeper.
