Future once again enters the Billboard record books.
His new mixtape, BeastMode 2, has become the highest-charting streaming-exclusive album on the Billboard 200 chart.
Future’s new nine track set with Zaytoven starts at No. 3 on the July 21-dated chart, after earning 57,000 equivalent album units.
Dropping on July 6 via Freebandz/Epic Records, BeastMode 2 is only available on streaming services.
Future has broken the record held by Chance the Rapper for the album Coloring Book, which sold 38,000 units equal to 57.3 million streams.
In 2017, the Atlanta rapper became the first artist to achieve back-to-back No. 1 debuts on the Billboard 200 albums chart.
Future is getting ready to embark on a co-headlining tour this fall with Nicki Minaj, which begins on September 21 in Baltimore.
