Rapper Future had a run-in with the so-called “hip-hop cops” on the way into a performance at jiggle joint mecca Scores, we’re told.
A source told us that the squad — said to be a small, shadowy unit of plainclothes NYPD officers who monitor rap events that they suspect could turn violent — was upset the “Selfish” star went in a back door and avoided being searched.
“They were mad, but let him perform anyway,” said the spy.
We hear the rapper left shortly after he sang his hits, including “Commas” and “Low Life” with Scram Jones and DJ Stacks DJing.
He avoided a scuffle between two women over a man, which was quickly broken up by security.
