She’s my WHAT? A bombshell was dropped on Jon Snow during the Season 8 premiere of Game Of Thrones

Many fans had long speculated that Jon Snow was of royal lineage, even before a TV series was made of George R.R. Martin’s A Song Of Ice And Fire book series.

However few had anticipated that Jon would sleep with Daenerys – who is technically his aunt- at the end of the previous season.

So when Jon’s longtime pal Samwell Tarly broke the news of his twisted family tree to the one-time ‘King In The North’, the internet erupted.

Uh-oh: Twitter users were quick to poke fun at the complicated situation -which saw Jon’s friend Sam reveal that his new love Daenerys Targaryen is technically his blood relative

And there were no shortage of other memes poking fun at the acclaimed series.

After one scene in which Cersei Lannister -whose character is known for committing acts of incest throughout the show- slept with a non-relative, @julian_hagins1 shared an iconic GIF of a crying/clapping Mariah Carey.

‘Cersei is finally sleeping with someone other than her own brother,’ he captioned the uproarious tweet.
