Gemma Collins could be about to make some mega money after reportedly triggering a "bidding war" between some top broadcasters.

The Only Way Is Essex legend is to be the subject of some huge offers as rivals battle to win her signature, it has been claimed.

Gemma shot to fame when she appeared on TOWIE in 2011 and she has gone on to earn millions.

But the cash could continue to roll in next year with the BBC and Channel 4 reportedly ready to go to war with ITV as she continues to draw in the viewers.

Figures for Gemma's shows Diva Forever and Diva In Lockdown were high and broadcasters are said to be desperate to prise her away.

She is already said to have nearly £3million in the bank with a number of commercial deals in place.

The GC has also cashed-in big cheques after appearing on Celebrity Big Brother, I'm A Celebrity and Dancing On Ice.

Speaking to The Sun, a TV insider said: "Gemma is ITV's golden girl at the moment, and her hugely successful reality shows have not gone unnoticed by rival bosses.

"The BBC have seen first-hand how popular she is through her podcast and they think if she can do that with the podcast imagine what she could do with TV!

"She is exactly what the BBC need to freshen up their channels and they want her on screen to draw in a younger audience, and Channel 4 have also expressed an interest."

But Gemma isn't thinking about 2021 yet – she isn't done with this year.

The reality star has been trying to make a name for herself in the music world by trying to land this year's Christmas Number 1 spot with close friend Darren Day.

"I wanted to do something fun and fabulous for you all for charity as it’s been a tough year for all, I hope this spreads some cheer and warmth in your hearts head over to my story to pre order," Gemma said last week.
