Blac Chyna will have her day in court against the Kardashians! A Los Angeles judge ruled on Wednesday, November 28 against the famous family’s petition to dismiss her claims that they slut shamed and defamed her, allegedly costing the model millions of dollars in future earnings from the now defunct Rob & Chyna reality show.
In her suit, Chyna claimed the family used their influence with network execs to have her E! show with Rob canceled. Chyna also claimed the family launched a campaign to defame her in order to kill the show after only one season.

The Kardashians fired back with their own petition, claiming they were exercising their freedom of speech and asked the court to dismiss Chyna’s entire suit.
But on Wednesday, a judge ruled against the Kardashians’ request.
“In this case, as the trial court noted when it exercised its discretion to deny a late filing, much litigation, including discovery, had already been conducted for two years before the anti-SLAPP motion brought it to a halt,” wrote Judge Randolph M. Hammock in his Nov. 28 order. “It is far too late for the anti-SLAPP statute to fulfill its purpose of resolving the case promptly and inexpensively. An anti-SLAPP motion is not a vehicle for a defendant to obtain dismissal of claims in the middle of litigation.”
The judge, however, ruled some of the family’s claims — not including Kylie — would be heard at a future court date, including their accusation that Chyna allegedly physically abused Rob.

In a statement to Radar, Chyna’s attorney, Lisa Bloom, said she was pleased that her client will finally have an opportunity to defend herself against the Kardashians, who slut shamed Chyna and allegedly cost the model her livelihood.
“The Kardashian family has filed numerous motions with the court, seeking to have the case thrown out so that Chyna would not get to present her case at the trial,” Bloom said in a statement. “As her attorneys, we have fought these motions every step of the way, and the case has remained alive. Today, the court rejected the Kardashian family’s request to strike Chyna’s entire lawsuit. Most importantly, all of Chyna’s legal claims stay in. Chyna will therefore be permitted to have her day in court. We thank the court for its careful, well-reasoned rulings. We look forward to getting a trial date next month and aggressively fighting for Chyna’s rights at trial.”
