Heather Locklear’s boyfriend pleads guilty to DUI charge

Heather Locklear‘s boyfriend won’t end up behind bars.

Chris Heisser pleaded guilty on Wednesday to one count of driving under the influence, Page Six has confirmed. He also admitted to driving while having a blood-alcohol level of .15 or more, but that charge was dismissed as part of his plea.

Heisser, who will avoid jail time, was sentenced to 36 months’ probation, fined $2,377, and has to complete a nine-month DUI program, The Blast reported.

Heisser, 56, was arrested in February after officers observed a Mercedes driving unusually slowly on the 101 Freeway, so they stopped the vehicle. Because he showed signs of intoxication, police gave Heisser a breathalyzer test, in which he blew .19 and .20. His arrest came hours after Locklear, also 56, was arrested for battering him.

The domestic violence incident didn’t break them up, as they were spotted looking “lovey-dovey” together a month later.

“We thought this would break them up, but it hasn’t,” a family source told The Post.

Locklear since has checked herself into rehab voluntarily after overdosing.
