Many were expecting her to co-host ITV’s royal wedding coverage alongside Philip Schofield.
But Holly Willoughby clearly had her priorities in order, this weekend – as she proved by spending Saturday with her family.
The TV star, 37, resisted being part of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s nuptials in order to celebrate the birthdays of her mother, Lynne, and sister, Kelly.
However, she didn’t let the historic occasion pass without acknowledgement.
In fact, the three women wore bridal gowns as part of their festivities and shared photographic proof online.
Taking to Instagram, where she has nearly 4million followers, Holly shared an image of herself with her relatives.
"So it’s the Royal wedding, my sisters 40th and my mums 70th birthday party at the Willoughby residence today!!!!" she wrote.
"I blame you @ladywilloughby for the dress code!".
Even the decorative balloon arch they posed under was white, red and blue – the official royal colours – while clutching Union Jack flags.
People loved the snap, which clocked-up 180,000 likes in just two hours, and heaped praise on her romantic theme.
"All beautiful!" said one, while another quipped: "Wow, you’re all stunning! I love the dress code."
A third added: "You all look beautiful but your mum looks amazing. Can’t believe she’s 70! Enjoy your celebrations, what a beautiful weekend for it."
Later, Holly cosied-up to a close-up of Meghan Markle during TV coverage of the wedding.
"She is soooooo beautiful… just a wedding day of dreams…. congratulations to Meghan and Harry", she cooed.
That also wowed fans and garnered 80,000 likes.
