Unfortunately, most of us aren’t as blessed as Beyonce, Adele and Mr Bublé when it comes to singing.
But the second we step into the shower, it’s a whole different story and all of a sudden we’re wondering where our Brit Award is.
And now one hotel chain is hoping to turn the best secret singers into big stars – by installing waterproof recording booths in its showers.
Aloft Hotels will be setting up state-of-the-art equipment in its showers, allowing guests to record and listen back to their musical creations.
They claim the flattering bathroom acoustics can make for the perfect track, and they hope people will even share their recordings with pals on social media.
Bosses have come up with the unusual idea to launch it’s new talent competition Project: Aloft Star .
Marriott , which runs Aloft Hotels, has teamed up with Universal Music Group in a bid to find the latest emerging talent.
John Licence, vice president of premium and select brands at Marriott International Europe, said: "Showers are synonymous with singing, so we put a fun spin on this by launching these voice recording booths using innovative technology to encourage even more superstars-in-the-making to bring their vocal talent out of the showers and into the spotlight."
