Why Janet Jackson called cops for a welfare check on son

Janet Jackson‘s welfare check on her son was the result of an angry nanny.

Jackson’s nanny became upset after Jackson’s ex-husband, Wissam Al Mana refused to give her the WiFi password to the hotel room where she was watching over baby Eissa, according to The Blast. In order to get back at Mana, the nanny called Jackson and reportedly “stirred the pot” on an already contentious relationship and it resulted in police presence.

As Page Six previously reported, Jackson called police to perform a welfare check on her son while he was with her ex on Saturday. Eissa, 1, was with the 43-year-old Qatari billionaire at the Nobu Hotel in Malibu, Calif., at the time of the call.

“There was no evidence of any crime. The baby was fine, so there was no report taken,” a representative for the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station told Page Six.

The former couple is hoping to move on from the incident quickly, The Blast reported.
