Jason Gardiner has insisted he wasn’t trying to fat-shame Gemma Collins when he compared her to a fridge in a TV interview this week.
The Dancing On Ice judge, 47, made the remarks on This Morning when talking about his telly nemesis.
When asked how he felt about The GC, 38, returning to the show, he told host Phillip Schofield: ""Oh who?"
When the presenter reiterated "The GC", he said: "I thought that was a refrigerator."
He’s now explained himself and insisted it wasn’t a reference to her size.
In a post on Twitter , Jason wrote: "I was not calling Gemma a refrigerator it was meant as a light hearted joke when Phillip said the "GC" which sounds like a white goods brand.
"What has happened to having a SoH?"
Gemma was booted out of DOI last month, but she was supposed to be returning for the final this weekend.
However, reports suggest The GC has pulled out because of her ongoing spat with Jason.
Ever since she began her stint on the ITV skating show, Gemma hogged the headlines over her diva behaviour.
It all started when DOI host Holly Willoughby slammed her for delaying rehearsals by taking an afternoon nap.
It got worse when judge Jason took aim at The GC’s antics in a scathing interview, calling her out for being a diva.
It turned into an on-air spat between the pair during the show as Gemma went to war with Jason for "selling stories" on her.
The following week, Gemma fell face first onto the ice and Jason was later spotted liking tweets calling the accident "karma" over her diva behaviour.
When it came down the crush after Gemma’s skate-off with cricketer Ryan Sidebottom, Jason made one final dig at her.
He said: "It is very easy for me to say this. And it gives me great pleasure to say I will be saving Ryan and Brandee."
