After a spell behind bars over multiple weapon charges, Jeremy Meeks has undergone an incredible turn of luck by getting engaged to Topshop heiress Chloe Green – and r eportedly starting a family with her.
But ahead of their upcoming nuptials, it’s been revealed the ‘Hot Felon’ is not the only member of his family with a criminal past.
Jeremy’s dad has spent 33 of his son’s 34 years in prison over two brutal attacks.
When Jeremy was just nine months old, Ray Meeks was jailed for stabbing a woman 36 times and strangling her in a harrowing five hour ordeal. He also raped another woman in a separate attack.
Ms Leon-Melara was found dead in her home on October 31 1984 after being stabbed 21 times in the chest, 15 times in the neck, beaten with a blunt instrument and strangled.
Police said she was alive for almost the entirety of the horrifying attack.
A week after the murder, Ray Meeks was accused of the rape and abduction of another woman. He admitted raping the woman in his car, but denied kidnap.
Despite being locked up for almost the entirety of his son’s life, Ray is in touch with his son and is reported to be hoping to score an invitation to Jeremy’s upcoming wedding to Chloe Green.

If Ray does land a seat at what’s sure to be an incredibly lavish wedding thrown by Chloe’s billionaire father Phillip Green, he won’t be the only relative of Jeremy’s in attendance with a dark past.
His mother Kathy, 63, is a former heroin addict with a long history of criminal offences.
Kathy was reportedly in and out of prison, leaving Jeremy’s sister Leanna to step in and help raise him from the age of 12.
Jeremy also has a half-brother, Emery, 39, via his father, who was slapped with a community order for robbery and who also has a criminal record for buying alcohol for a minor.
While half-sister Carmella, 43, has a criminal record for minor thefts, cannabis possession and various driving offences.
Jeremy Meeks’ estranged wife reveals she suffered a miscarriage after he left her for ‘pregnant’ Chloe Green
Jeremy’s own brush with the law turned his life around after he landed modelling contracts on the back of his mugshot.
The picture of heavily tattooed Jeremy went viral after it was published to the Stockton, California police Facebook page in 2014.
After two years behind bars, Jeremy became an unlikely celebrity after his release and was introduced to Chloe Green at a party in Cannes in May 2017.
Within months of the meeting Jeremy left his wife Melissa, with whom he shares a young son, and started publicly flaunting his romance with Topshop heiress Chloe.
Chloe is now said to be expecting their first child.
And her rumoured baby is said to be the inspiration behind the couple planning a quickie wedding.
A source told the Daily Star: “The wedding invites are out and the wedding is in early April at a hushhush location in Miami. There will be a lot of rich and famous faces there.
“But it is being kept very much under the carpet as Chloe – like many brides – is a bit embarrassed about the fact people may think she is only getting married as she is pregnant.
“She hates the phrase ‘shotgun wedding’, but that is what it is as she wants to add some respectability to her pregnancy and does not want to give birth unmarried.”
It is thought dad Philip, 66, and wife Tina, 69, have given their blessing.
