Joe Biden has been given the all clear to start the formal transition process for his presidency, according to CBS News.
The General Services Administration, also known as the GSA, has sent a letter to the President-elect informing him that access to key funding, office space, classified intelligence briefings and agency access is now in play.
This afternoon, Mr. Biden‘s win in Michigan was re-certified after a recount. Pennsylvania will have a certified winner later tonight.
Just after the GSA alerted Mr. Biden, President Trump tweeted that he has recommended the GSA administrator “do what needs to be done with regard to initial protocols, and I have told my team to do the same.”
“Our case STRONGLY continues, we will keep up the good…fight, and I believe we will prevail!” he insisted though, regarding his fight to recount many of the votes in the election that went to Mr. Biden over him.
Over the weekend, Twitter confirmed that despite Trump not conceding the election, the POTUS account would transfer over to Biden in January.
