John Cena and Nikki Balla have been spotted taking a romantic walk together – after denying their split was staged.
The pair were spotted together in the Mission Hills neighborhood of San Diego on Saturday, walking side by side after grabbing a coffee.
Both were dressed down in casual clothes and tried to walk separately when they knew they were spotted by fans.
Their wedding was called off after the pair disagreed over having children – just weeks before the big day – but both were forced to deny the split, just days before the launch of Nikki’s newest reality show Total Bellas.
Since the split they both have given a string of increasingly confusing interviews. First of WWE star John told the world he wanted Nikki back and would do anything to make her his wife.
And now it appears Nikki has suggested that John’s tireless campaign to win her back is working.
"I believe 100% he wants kids," she told TMZ . "It makes me want to run back and jump into his arms."
She admitted she has her doubts about their relationship but added: "I care about him and love him a lot."
The admission comes after the WWE superstar and actor appeared on the Today show to get "honest" about the split.
"It’s up and it’s down. I’ve always been honest with you guys, but I also don’t want to ruin your viewers morning by giving a bowl of sadness soup," John told Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb.
"It’s been incredibly reflective, which is amazing, but it is very difficult. I had my heart broken out of nowhere – or for me, it was out of nowhere."
John Cena admits he still loves Nikki Bella with "all my heart" as he breaks silence on split
He continued: "And anyone who has experienced that knows that it comes with a series of bad feelings."
"For anyone out there speculating on what I am doing with my life now, I still love Nicole. I still would love to marry Nicole. I still would love to have a family with Nicole."
"There was an unfortunate set of circumstances where our relationship ended."
Cena also insisted that he is not loving the single life and is grieving the end of his relationship.
"There has been a lot of speculation recently about me being seen in public, and everybody is thinking like, ‘Oh, John Cena is enjoying the single life.’ No, I was supposed to be married and having a honeymoon over these two weeks. It is the first time in 15 years that I have taken a vacation," Cena said.
"I am in my house alone surrounded by these emotionally strong memories, and every day from 6 to 9, I get out of the house and talk to strangers [for] social interaction."
"I don’t want anybody else, I love Nicole. And I’m really trying to support her in finding whatever it is that she wants that made this fall apart in the first place," he said.
"I don’t have any other hopes other than that maybe one day we can work it out."
Last month, speaking from CinemaCon 2018 at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, John admitted: “It sucks."
He added to Entertainment Tonight: “There’s no other way to say it. I love Nicole with all my heart, and that’s that."
