Justin Timberlake Discusses Celebrity Parenting, Not Wanting To Be ‘Weirdly Private’

Justin Timberlake recently discussed his and wife Jessica Biel‘s parenting philosophy and said both of them don’t want to be “weirdly private,” but at the same time want to keep their kids out of spotlight.

Speaking on Dax Shepard‘s “Armchair Expert” podcast, Timberlake said, “I try to be conscious of making sure we can live a life where we’re not weirdly private but we’re conscious of making sure they could be kids for as long as possible and not have the weight of somebody else treating them differently because of something that their parents do.”

Timberlake and his wife confirmed the news about their second son, baby boy Phineas, several months after his birth.

Timberlake revealed the news of Phineas’ birth on Ellen DeGeneres‘ talk show, which aired on January 18.

“He’s awesome and so cute. Nobody’s sleeping,” Timberlake gushed in the preview clip. “But we’re thrilled. We’re thrilled and couldn’t be happier. Very grateful.”

The couple, who married in 2012, welcomed their first child, son Silas, in April 2015. They rarely share any pictures of Silas on social media and have not yet posted any pictures of newborn Phineas.
