There’s little Kanye West can do these days to shock his fans.
But the rapper’s latest fashion campaign will certainly raise a few eyebrows.
On Tuesday evening Kanye tweeted a series of pictures showing models rocking his new Yeezy Desert Rat trainers.
Most of the shots, captured by Eli Linnetz, were pretty standard and showed people suitably dressed in shorts, trousers and velour hooded sweaters, as well as his trainers.
But two pictures stood out – particularly for 50 Cent, who immediately asked why Kanye was allowed to post pictures of topless models on social media. The post was soon removed from Instagram.
One NSFW picture features two models, one of whom looks a lot like his wife Kim Kardashian, wearing nothing but Kanye’s Super Moon Yellow Adidas Yeezy 500 footwear.
Another picture shows a couple sharing an embrace while modelling the same trainers.
And a third shows another two Kim lookalikes, who are this time sporting long platinum blonde extensions, in a similar embrace as they sit on the floor with their legs intertwined.
The pictures unsurprisingly sparked a mixed reaction, with one of Kanye’s followers writing: "What in the world! You’re telling me this is art."
A second shared: "Wow, thanks for supporting unrealistic looking women. Clearly you’re super socially conscious."
Another said: "I honestly hate that I like these shoes."
