Kate Middleton and Prince William have been spotted showing off their musical talents as they played the bongos during a visit to Trench Town in Jamaica during their Caribbean tour.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge looked like they were having a whale of a time as they sat down side-by-side with the instruments in front of them as they bashed out a tune together.

Kate, 40, looked gorgeous in a striped turquoise and orange dress, which she paired with a bangle by local designer Lashawndla Bailey-Miller.

While her husband Prince William, 39, looked dapper in a navy shirt with white trousers and brown loafers for the fun outing.

The royal couple were surrounded by locals and reggae musicians, who they jammed with outside of the Trench Town Culture Yard Museum, where Bob Marley lived in the Kingston neighbourhood.

Earlier in the day, the couple also met Manchester City's Raheem Sterling, Aston Villa's Leon Bailey and Jamaica's bobsleigh team.

The pair couldn't help but smile as they posed with the team before then joining football players from Kingston College, winners of the ISSA Manning Cup Football competition, on the pitch.

Kate later showed her motherly side as she knelt down took the hand of a young child through a gate.

The youngster appeared to smile as she reached out to Kate while grown ups surrounded her.

The Duchess couldn't help but smile as she and the young child put their palms together in a sweet moment.
