Yesterday Katie Price hit back at claims Peter Andre has ‘banned’ her from seeing their kids, insisting they made a joint decision for Princess and Junior to live with him temporarily.
But Junior’s 13th birthday came and went on June 13 without a public shout of from his usually vocal mum, who instead shared a post about her hair extensions and another of herself and the other kids tucking into fish and chips.
And there was no tribute from Peter either.
It was a far cry from last year when she posted a gushing Instagram tribute to her second eldest boy this time last year, uploading a montage of him and his siblings.
"Happy birthday to my beautiful son Junior 12 years old today," she captioned it.
Junior and his little sister Princess are staying with Mysterious Girl singer Peter and his new wife Emily to spare them ’emotional upset’, it was claimed yesterday.
Katie’s rep told Mirror Online that both she and Peter decided it would be best for the children to live there while she wraps up her now defunct marriage to Kieran Hayler.
"What is important [is] that the focus is on what is best for the children during tough times as Peter has acknowledged," the spokesperson said, revealing both kids are looking forward to being back with their mum.
"Katie is a remarkable mother, Peter is a wonderful father, together they are doing what is best for their children."
But it follows rumours that Peter had refused to let the children go back to Katie after the May half-term amid supposed concerns about her partying and new relationship with fitness instructor Kris Boyson, 29.
And a source told The Sun Katie doesn’t know when she’ll next get to see the pair.
"She doesn’t know the date when they’re coming home, and she misses them a lot," the source claimed.
"She’s spending a lot of time with Bunny and Jett and can’t wait until she gets her family back together.
"It’s really hard for her right now. She loves having all her family around her, so not knowing when she’ll be with Princess and Junior again is difficult."
And Pete seemingly took a swipe at his ex, insisting he and new wife Emily will always give Princess and Junior a ‘stable home’.
“J and P have gone, and will go, through tough times in their lives," Peter wrote in his column for New magazine.
“But no matter what, Emily and I will always provide a stable home for them. People can read in to that how they like. We have a lot of routines and I’m really strict on school nights."
