Keith Flint had cocaine and alcohol in his system when he took his own life

On 11 March, an inquest in Chelmsford found that Keith’s cause of death was hanging.

Coroner’s officer Lynsey Chaffe said: ‘Police attended, all protocols were followed and his death was confirmed as not suspicious.’

The musician was laid to rest on 29 March, with hundreds of fans lining the streets in tribute to the star.

This inquest comes as The Prodigy’s official Instagram shared a poignant message about mental health, urging fans to seek help if they need it.

The post read: ‘It has been a tough time for everyone over the last few weeks since Keef’s passing.

‘If you are struggling with depression, addiction or the impact of suicide, please do not suffer in silence. The Prodigy fully support the campaign to improve mental health for all and give it the respect it deserves.’
