Kim K, Pam Anderson & More Stars Who’ve Posed Nude For ‘Playboy’

Hollywood’s hottest stars have graced the pages of ‘Playboy’ magazine! But, only a select group of celebs have completely stripped down for the mag! See Kim Kardashian, Lindsay Lohan and more stars who’ve bared it all for ‘Playboy’!

In Hollywood, to pose for Playboy‘s iconic pages meant that you made it, especially for emerging stars who were looking to put their imprint on being labeled a sex symbol. Marilyn Monroe was the first star ever to pose nude for the magazine’s debut issue in December of 1953. Her centerfold, which featured her bare breasts and body against a red backdrop, sold out in a matter of weeks, and ultimately shot the magazine to publishing stardom. Eventually, the mag would see the likes of Kim Kardashian, 37, Pamela Anderson, 50, Lindsay Lohan, 31, Madonna, 59, and more, who’ve all posed nude for its iconic pages. While Playboy was known for its nude pictorials, the magazine decided to take a different approach to its pages in 2016, announcing that it would no longer feature nude photos as of March 2016. “Playboy will continue to publish sexy, seductive pictorials of the world’s most beautiful women, including its iconic Playmates, all shot by some of today’s most renowned photographers,” the publication said in a statement in October 2015. “The magazine will also remain committed to its award-winning mix of long-form journalism, interviews and fiction.”

Playboy Enterprises CEO Scott Flanders explained that the magazine’s decision coincided with the way the modern-day audience consumed explicit content, meaning, just about anyone can search for nude photos on the internet.

However, after a year-long stint of nearly no nude photos, the magazine brought back nudity in March 2017. Despite the changes in editorial and nudity policies through the years, it is still considered an honor to pose for Playboy, as its history speaks for itself. The magazine — founded by the late Hugh Hefner, who died in September of 2017 — played a vital role in sexual revolution. Playboy is published worldwide.
