Kylie Minogue, Cher and several other musicians teamed up to perform a cover of Oasis ballad “Stop Crying Your Heart Out” on Radio 2 to benefit Children in Need on Friday (November 13).
A video for the track debuted during the charity broadcast on the 40th anniversary of the BBC fundraiser.
The BBC Concert Orchestra that included Sheku Kanneh-Mason on cello, backed the singers on the cover of the Gallagher brothers’2006 hit.
“Children in Need is such a special charity and so loved by everyone, including me,” Minogue said. “It was a privilege to take part in this recording with so many amazing artists. This year it feels even more poignant than ever, and I hope we can all come together to raise as much as possible.”
Bryan Adams, Robbie Williams, Paloma Faith, Ava Max, Nile Rodgers, Lenny Kravitz, Jess Glyne, Mel C and Gregory Porter were among the other artists that performed the Oasis cover for the charity.
