The Coronation Street star, 42, has been open about the grief of her baby son Archie being stillborn in the past. Now, in this week’s issue of OK! Magazine, Kym Marsh has addressed the decision Prince Harry, 34, and the Duchess of Sussex, 37, made to name their baby Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. “Meghan and Harry chose the name Archie, and I love it,” she wrote in her column for the publication. “My son, who was stillborn in 2009, was called Archie too, so obviously I’m biased but I think it’s a wonderful choice.

“It’s a good solid name that you can’t go far wrong with,” Kym added.
“I wasn’t surprised that they didn’t go for something traditional, as they are known to bend the rules.
“They do things their own way, and it makes them more accessible,” the Coronation Street star said.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced the birth of their first son on May 6 and introduced the world to Archie when they revealed his name at their first press conference two days later.
Meanwhile, earlier this year, Kym marked her late son Archie’s birthday with a poignant post on Instagram, sharing a picture of his handprints and footprints frames next to a candle and his urn.
“10 years on and it still hurts like it was yesterday,” she wrote in view of her 200,000 followers.
“I wish I could show you a photo of a smiling boy surrounded by gifts. I wish I could show you videos of his party, playing with his mates and eating sweets til his tummy hurt.”(sic)
She continued: “I wish I could show you photos of us all celebrating his birthday with him front and centre blowing out his candles. I wish I could kiss him and say happy birthday son.
“I wish I could hold his hand again just for one minute. I wish for so many moments that I can’t have.
“I may not be able to hold you Arch, or give you kisses or tell you that mummy loves you more than you will ever know,” she said. “But you are in my heart always.
“I will never forget you or stop loving you or stop missing you or stop wishing you were here. Happy birthday my angel. Fly high up there kid. I love you always and forever. Mummy xxxx.”
In an interview with The Mirror last year, Corrie star Kym said she took Archie’s ashes home so she could keep them next to her bed.

“I think of Archie every day,” she said. “I still talk to him to say goodnight or I love you.
“It’s a wound that will never heal.
“Losing a child takes you to a very dark place and you go through many different emotions — grief, denial, anger, the feeling of being alone and guilt for not bringing your baby safely into the world,” she continued.
“It’s not something you get over, but you have to come to terms with it, accept what’s happened as part of the healing process.
“Once you’ve accepted that horrible things happened to you, only then can you start to move forward and rebuild your life.”
