Ever since Liam Payne and Cheryl welcomed their son, Bear Payne, into the world in March 2017, we have been waiting for them to get married.
The two began dating in 2016 and we have seriously loved seeing their relationship blossom. Although there have been some serious breakup rumors over the years, both the former One Direction star and Girls Aloud alum have continually denied that their relationship status has changed.
With Bear being 1 year old now, fans have begun to wonder if they’ll ever make a trip down the aisle. The 24-year-old appeared on SiriusXM’s The Morning Mash Up and clued us in on what the couple’s future looks like.
“I don’t feel like I need to go to that step to feel any differently about how I do about my relationship,” Liam said. “I feel like we’re in a very comfortable place right now and, like, having my son means more than anything to me in the world. So you know, it’s not really like we need to take that next step. We might do it in the long-term, but it’s not, like, a big deal.”
This new revelation has us in our feels because we just want to see them get married already!
