Despite ending their romantic relationship, Liam Payne has revealed he and his ex Cheryl are closer than ever as they continue to co-parent their son Bear.
The singer, who celebrated Christmas with Cheryl and Bear, said the pair are in a really good place and often spend time speaking on FaceTime.
Speaking to Glamour magazine, the 27 year old admitted that it's "really, really nice" that the exes are able to get along.
He expressed: "Cheryl is literally the best person to co-parent with. No stress involved.

"It's very, very relaxed, and we spend a lot of time on FaceTime.
"And it's been really lovely, and I'm closer to them than I've ever been before, actually, which is really, really nice.
"But bedtime FaceTime can go really well sometimes. Or I bought him some toys yesterday that I showed them on the FaceTime and it was like I had to travel over and hand the toys over the fence!," he explained.
Liam and Cheryl, 37, began dating in 2016, but their two-year relationship came to an end in 2018.
