Wrong timing: Fans took to Twitter in droves as the popular programme appeared to be a whole hour ahead as host Lorraine Kelly talked fashion with resident expert Mark Heyes

Reaction: Viewers feared they were late for work and school due to the blunder

Earlier this week, Lorraine lost her usual composure when she let out a blood-curdling shriek after her fashion expert Mark scared the life out of her on Halloween (Wednesday).

The Scottish TV presenter, 58, was left utterly terrified after Mark, who was dressed as a werewolf, carefully crept up in the midst of her piece to camera as the show ended.

Letting out a growl, Lorraine jumped out of her seat and by her own admission nearly turned the airwaves blue with the scare.

Screaming, Lorraine exclaimed: ‘Oh you swine! You absolute swine! You horrible, horrible man.’

Gathering herself together, Lorraine began to see the funny side and admitted to Mark that he’s lucky she didn’t drop any profanities.

Although in a state of shock, she giggled: ‘You are so lucky I didn’t swear! Have a lovely Halloween. Oh my god I need a lie down’, while Mark began to profusely apologise.
