It’s the prime-time dating competition with a reputation for being ruthless.
Yet, despite this, Love Island bosses have scrapped sensational plans to move Jack Fincham’s ex-girlfriend, Keeley Maguire, into the villa – over fears for Dani Dyer’s wellbeing.
According to insiders, TV bosses U-turned on the controversial plan after fans expressed outrage over the brunette’s recent meltdown, which saw her sobbing on-screen earlier this week.

Blonde Keeley, 22, had already auditioned for the show and was ready to join the current cast-members.
But staff feared a backlash if she further upset Dani. Not least because her last meltdown t drew 2,500 viewer complaints with regulatory body OFCOM.
A TV insidertold The Sun: "Keeley has given Love Island bigwigs a major dilemma.
"Sending her into the villa would bring more drama, especially now Dani and Jack no longer have Ellie coming between them, but they’re worried about a repeat of the Casa Amor fiasco.
"They think Keeley joining the show is too much of a risk – especially since they weren’t that keen on her in the first place."
A Love Island source confirmed there were "no current plans" for her to take part.
Currently, Dani and Jack are hotly-tipped to win this year’s series, which will see them scoop the £50,000 prize sum along the way.
But can they last? Only time will tell…
