Love Island’s Amber Gill breaks silence on Joe Garratt romance rumours after cosy club video

Love Island winner Amber Gill has stated that she is just “good friends” with Joe Garratt after a cosy video emerged of them in a club together.

Footage emerged in December showing Amber, 22, and Joe, 25, looking intimate during a night out — leading the sandwich maker to confirm he had split from girlfriend Lucie Donlan.

An eyewitness, who was partying at the same nightclub as the reality stars, filmed a video of the pair as they enjoyed each other's company.

Amber was seen sat on a stool as Joe stood in between her thighs. They look happy and relaxed as they whisper to each other at the bash.

Keeping themselves to themselves, Amber and Joe were shielded by a bouncer, but the sneaky fan managed to get a video of the pair.

The person who filmed the pair getting close claims the pair had "snogged" during their night out, but the video cost them getting thrown out of the club, although they are not seen kissing in the video.

Over the video, obtained by Mirror Online, the uploaded has written: "I got kicked out and banned from this club because of this one snap hahahah. Amber & Joe snogging."

However, Amber has now slammed the footage and says that she and Joe were only talking and that people are waiting for her to “slip up”.

The Newcastle beauty told Mail Online : "Nothing went on. Joe and I are just good friends and we were only talking.

"That was a bit awkward for me and him to go through, where everyone thinks that we're kissing but that didn't happen.

"People are waiting for me to slip up and do something. I watched the video and there's nothing actually going on."

Amber had previously admitted she had a crush on sandwich shop owner Joe when they entered the Love Island villa last summer.

Boxer Tommy Fury snatched Lucie away from her love interest Joe in the series' first episode, with Amber then wasting no time in asking Joe to share a bed with her.

The Geordie beauty told Joe not stepping forward for him when he entered the villa was the "stupidest f**king thing" she ever did.

Once Joe managed to steal Lucie back, Amber “coupled up” with Michael Griffiths before moving on to Greg O'Shea, who she won the series with but split from weeks later.
