Love Island’s Shannon Singh has admitted she made “good money” from OnlyFans, but insists she’s not a millionaire.

Opening up about the adult content site, the 22 year old revealed she used her account as a way to boost her income after her glamour modelling work started to fizzle out.

She told OK! : “I can’t really say I’m a millionaire. I made good money.”

Shannon continued: “I think the thing what people don’t realise is, once I started glamour modelling, the industry kind of went kaput. I had it [OnlyFans] when nobody knew what it was. It was a platform for glamour girls.

“The way that I took it was, I had an agency and they were going to take 35 per cent commission, you had this new subscriptions page called OnlyFans that took 20 percent and it gave creators kind of more control.

“When you’re in the glamour industry and you’re shooting for all these sites and stuff, you lose control of what content they’ve got of you and looking back, it’s actually really bad.”

She added: “OnlyFans is a massive site. It’s not just glamour. Obviously there’s the porn side of it and what not and there’s loads of people that are on that site. I think it’s a really good income stream, but it’s also got the misconception of it.

"I was a published model that just had to try and salvage her career because obviously all the papers and stuff were fizzling out.

"We had to take control of our content and own it – and OnlyFans at the time was the best platform for that.”

Shannon, who previously boasted about having sex “eight times a day”, also admitted that despite what some people may think, she’s “timid” when it comes to men.

“I’m not as chuck yourself at guys as people will probably think. I like to get to know a guy first,” she said.

“I want to be friends with a guy before I even think about romantically being with someone. I think the foundations of a really good relationship is that you’re friends.

“I’m not going to be one of these girls that’s dying to kiss guys and chuck themselves at them.

"I’m quite reserved. I know that people are going to be like, ‘You’re a glamour model.’ I’m like, ‘Yeah. So?’ That was my job. That’s not who I am as a person.

"There’s so much more to me than just the glamour aspect of me.”

She added: “I am quite timid. In terms of finding a guy, there’s no way they’re going to get any intimate aspect of me until I’ve sussed them out.”

Love Island starts at 9pm on Monday 28th June on ITV2 and ITV Hub. Episodes are available the following morning on BritBox.
