Country singer-songwriter Margo Price made a remote appearance on “CBS This Morning” on Saturday, and in addition to delivering a thrilling performance of a few of her hits, she also spoke about her husband and guitarist Jeremy Ivey‘s battle against the coronavirus.
Price, who revealed to the public that Ivey had tested positive for the disease back in April, quarantined herself along with her family for 14 days and has now assured her and Ivey’s fans that he is well into the process of recovery, even though he was a high-risk patient, as he suffers from diabetes and hypoglycemia.
“He is finally in just this last week getting back to being more like himself,” she shared from her the comfort of her home. “He was in a worst state than I’d ever seen him in my whole life. I mean, he got thin and frail and he was just sleeping like 12-14 hours a day. I was pretty terrified.”
Price is also gearing up for the release of her new album, That’s How Rumors Get Started, which was earlier pushed back due to the circumstances. The album will now be released on July 10.
