The 34-year-old reality TV star had an operation on Wednesday following a series of consultations. After he found the lump in his “breast/armpit area”, Mark was told not to worry ‑ but returned to medics when it started to grow.

Ten days after an MRI scan, the “little git” was detached by surgeons.

The former The Only Way Is Essex star wrote from hospital: “Nothing in life is more important than your health. Get checked, check yourself and make sure you take good care of yourself.”

Posting a picture of the likely benign tumour after his operation, he said he hoped his words may “save one person”.

The Heart Radio host, who is married to actress Michelle Keegan, 34, added that the growth is being sent off for testing.
