She refused to consider a permanent move to join husband Mark Wright when he briefly moved to Los Angeles.

But that doesn't mean Michelle Keegan loves the rain – with the actress telling fans she was well and truly "fed up".

The 33-year-old shared a make-up free Instagram selfie of herself clad in several layers of warm clothing as she lamented the rainy and windy weather currently sweeping the nation.

"Wearing 5 layers and still freezing," the Our Girl actress, 33, captioned the snap alongside a freezing emoji.

The former Coronation Street star added that she was: "FED UP!!!!"

Michelle, who is married to former TOWIE star Mark, went on to ask: "When is the weather going to go nice again???

"People in the know talk to me," she concluded.

Michelle will have to sit through a few more days of dreary weather as the Met Office has predicted further rain, hail storms and strong winds for the rest of the week.

Grim weather is also expected to put a damper on the UK's spring season until mid-May.

Meanwhile, the brunette has reportedly spent the last few months being a "rock" to her husband Mark following a difficult few months concerning his family.

The former reality star was heartbroken after losing his uncle Eddie Wright to Covid in March, and then last month, his cousin Elliott Wright's restaurant, Olivia's La Cala in Marbella, burned down after a suspected arson attack.

However, sources say Michelle has been a great support.

"The family have experienced one thing after the other. It's like they've had the worst luck. Mark especially has found it really tough," the insider explained to New! magazine.

"Michelle has been an amazing strength for Mark. He's called her his rock and said he doesn't know what he'd do without her."

Mark and Michelle have regularly had a long-distance relationship since they married in 2015. But new's source claims the recent events have made them rethink their whole work ethic.

"Mark has realised what truly matters and that's family and being with the people he loves," the source explained.

"Michelle has been thinking about taking a pause on her work just to have more time to support Mark. It's been such a tough time for everyone and she wants to be there for him as much as she can be."
